The Return of Redwood
Shamanistic Journey of Healing
The Shamans, old and new, of Redwood Tribe and from many other Clans and Tribes called for a journey, a journey of healing.
They came together in Orgrimmar, where many still reside, bereft of home, searching for kin, many desiring just the dignity that all beings crave.
These times have seen injury to individuals, to cities, and even to the planet Azeroth herself... It is time for healing and yet, while the recent
Warchief of the Horde still eludes capture, there is still a threat that looms over all.
Despite the danger still posed, the Shamans along with many other healers walked the paths of Orgrimmar, sharing warmth and kindness with all.
Grateful to the many that joined in, the Tribe were joined by several elders... what does this portend when past meets present?
Brewfest Grounds, Durotar
Redwood Tribe enjoys a large sampling of foods and ales as Brewfest takes hold of Durotar for a few weeks.
Amongst some of the older Shu'halo are several of the newly admitted Tribes, Vulpera, Troll, and Orc council members.
Another recent addition with a council seat still open are the Pandaren. It looks like Brewmaster Tao is a possibility
They seem to have enjoyed the Ogre brews and possibly imbibed several varieties causing an alchemical reaction that almost caused an earthshattering duplication effect... see below as the Ogre membership in the Tribe quadrupled, must to Brewmaster Tao's surprise... Well, as long as the Ogre's sampled his brews, I am sure he was delighted.
The Horde is now run by a council... but there is still so much to do. Another threat defeated, but the former Warchief is on the run... or is she running. Word from Northrend is that she was seen and now there is a large crack in the sky above Icecrown Citadel. I have yet to see it myself, but the rumors of returning Tribe members is not to be doubted.
In addition, the word out from the Earthen Ring and Cenarion Circle is that their is some issue with the Spirit Realm. Former Sage of Redwood, Okwaho Skyseer has returned ready to lend a hand... rumors abound that the Sage and a few other Redwood members may also be suffering from a time misplacement, but they are here and wearing the Redwood colors proudly and that is what matters.
Earth Mother watch over us!
The Redwood Summit
Redwood called a summit to check in with their new councilors and to introduce everyone to the new leaders of the Tribe.
Gorahl, Dodoa and Kralkeur took their place, leading their respective races, Troll, Shu'halo, and Vulpera, while recent editions to the Redwood family looked on. The new Orc councilor will be introduced shortly, however the hunt is still on for a leader of the Pandarens amongst the Redwood Tribe.
Tradrie, the Dawnbreaker
Cider Chicken, Brussel Sprouts and Apples
4 slices bacon, chopped
8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 3 1/2 pounds total)
2 medium tart red apples, cored and cut into wedges
1 12 ounce bottle hard cider
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
1 teaspoon kosher salt
12 ounces fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved if large (2 cups)
1. In a very large skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove from pan, reserving drippings in skillet. Add chicken, skin side down, and cook 10 minutes or until browned, turning once; remove from skillet. Add apples to the skillet and cook 4 minutes or until browned on both sides; remove from skillet. Drain and discard drippings from skillet.
2.Add cider, thyme, mustard, and salt to skillet, scraping up any browned bits. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add Brussels sprouts. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add apples and cook, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes more or until chicken is done (at least 175°F).

Vulperan Education Agency
Valley of Honor, Orgrimmar
Vulperan Councilor Kralkeur leads a discussion on the Education of Vulperan young, now that they are members of the Horde. Many good points were raised concerning values, cultural expectations, and change for good and for bad. At the end of the day, a certain feral druid found her way into one of the Vulperan tents... for a catnap.
